Emily and Chris’s late summer Charlottesville engagement session was one for the books, rain and all! One of my favorite places to shoot is Waterperry Farm just outside of Charlottesville! The best part about this spot is that it’s just as stunning any time of the year, even in the rain! This late summer, rainy engagement session with Emily and Chris is by far a personal favorite! I mean, just look at that lush garden, with it’s late summer rose blooms and vibrant colors!!! It doesn’t get any more dreamy than this location right here. I’ve shot here numerous times over the years, and I never seem to tire of it’s beauty. Check out more of their session below!
I’m a firm believer in popping champagne at your engagement session! It’s also a great intermission between outfit changes or a fun celebration to end the day! Plus, who doesn’t love a good bubbly?!
See, drizzly engagement sessions can be just as beautiful as any other day! I had such a blast with Emily and Chris during their late summer Charlottesville engagement session at Waterperry Farm! Not to mention, they really did choose the most beautiful location in central Virginia! These two handled the muggy, drizzly weather like total champs! I truly can’t wait to see them again at their May 2022 wedding at The Market at Grelen!
And if you’re thinking of a garden inspired engagement session, Waterperry is the spot for you! Plus, I don’t think I’ll ever quite get over these vibrant greens, lush gardens, and blooms everywhere you turn. So you can definitely count me in! So what do you say?!
