Megan and Jon were married under the giant oak trees at Boone Hall with hanging spanish moss and surrounded by sunset inspired florals. This Charleston wedding will surely take your breath away.
When I first talked with Megan she mentioned how much she loved The Notebook. She mentioned how much her and Jon’s relationship related to the hardships in the book. I knew this day was so incredibly special for them. When planning their engagement session and wedding day, we made sure to have subtle nods to the book & movie throughout the day. Even the venue was Allie’s home in the movie! They even decided on a romantic floral adorned row boat at Cypress Gardens for their engagement session – a nod to the famous boat scene in the movie. Megan left no details left unthought of for their wedding day. Truly, she is a creative at heart. Her vision for their day was one I will never forget. From her flat lay details to the sunset inspired florals and a vintage bus named Walt – this Charleston wedding was utter perfection.
This Charleston wedding was one for the books! It was the first of hopefully many more Charleston weddings to come.
